As a continuation of the 40-year-old restaurant's deeply rooted passion for celebrating Japanese culture in Washington, DC and beyond, Perry's has recently launched an exclusive sake club. Every two months, sake club members will receive two bottles of unique sake hand-picked by Perry's sommelier Devin Sparks and James Beard award-winning Chef Masako Morishita. Inspired by her parents who met while working in Japan's sake industry, the sake club holds both personal meaning and serves as a point of national pride for Chef Masako. Similarly to the Japanese comfort food dishes served on the Perry's menu, Chef Morishita and the Perry's team hope the club's offerings have the power to evoke the hospitality and familiarity of her family home in Japan.
Our bi-monthly membership introduces a fresh theme every two months, starting at $98, with the option to add a premium bottle of sake for an additional $72.
Please note that membership is limited, but don’t worry—if spots are currently full, you can join our waitlist and be the first to know when a spot becomes available!

American Toji "Master Brewer" in Japan
Pickup: January 7
Stuart Morris • Sake Master
Stuart Morris is a rare quantity in the world of Japanese Sakes. This unassuming, hard-working Bostonian achieved his Master of Sake and today makes premium Sakes at one of Japan’s foremost Sake breweries—one of the few non-Japanese natives to do so. His journey is one of passion and belief in overcoming the impossible…For 25 years, Stuart has made Japanese Sake his life’s pursuit—insatiably learning its culture, tradition, and styles. Stuart’s path to Sake began behind the bar of a sushi restaurant in the U.S. Virgin Islands. From there he headed west to San Francisco and Napa Valley where he immersed himself in Sake and fine dining while making numerous trips to Japan and deepening his appreciation for the world’s best Sakes. In 2010, Stuart successfully completed the prestigious Kikisake-Shi Sake sommelier exam in Tokyo—despite the test being in all Japanese and seemingly impossible for an outsider to pass.
